Les Ambassadeurs’ Billy Clark won the UK Dealer’s Championships at the London Casino & Gaming show, held at the ExCeL exhibition venue in the city’s Docklands on Wednesday evening (January 15).

Clark took the elegant trophy, a £2,000 cheque and entry into the up-coming European Dealers’ Championships to be held in Liechtenstein.

He received his award at a crowded and exuberant networking reception on Wednesday evening, held at the Hippodrome Casino in Leicester Square.

The runner-up, with a £1,000 prize and also entry into the European competition, was a Hippodrome dealer, Matthew Taylor. Third was Grosvenor Casinos’ Raymond Schneider with a £500 prize.

Other awards, each with a trophy and £300 prize, were: Stack pushing, Akshay Ramchurn of the Metropolitan Casino; Chip cutting was added to his overall win by Billy Clark; Maths bets winner was Sergio Cisterna of Crown Casino; card handling went to Raymond Schneider of Grosvenor and chip cutting champion was Eddie di Sarno from Genting.

The UK competition is put together by Murat Salih, who is director of live table gaming at the Hippodrome Casino.
