Lee Wild catches up with the owner of KBowl Kilkenny, Shane Murphy, after the Irish venue recently underwent an almost €1m redevelopment.

KBowl

Kilkenny, a picturesque city located in the south of Ireland, is a quaint town. A huge draw for tourists thanks to its historic castle, old winding streets and a number of attractions, its population of around 25,000 people often swells with tourists over the summer months.

While there, many seek out further entertainment, and they don’t have to look far to find KBowl Kilkenny, a state-of-the-art FEC featuring a wide range of attractions. First opened in 2008 in a former workhouse that is now part of a shopping centre, it came into the ownership of Shane Murphy in 2012, who still runs the venue to this day.
