The UK has changed significantly since our last special issue on the country, with a new government, a new pair of trade shows and plenty of new attractions. However, the long-awaited update to its gambling laws has been pushed back once again, with little indication on what form they may take after Labour’s general election win. It means that many companies best-laid plans have had to be at best, delayed, or at worst, ripped up, leading to an uncertain end to 2024 for many.
