Spanning four storeys, the new venue will offer interactive and sensory play areas to its guests within the 3,000sq.ft space.

The upgrade will allow for up to 200 guests to play in the space, with a seating area for up to 100 guests also included within the space, over double the capacity of the existing venue.

Butlin’s largest indoor soft play centre will be eight meters in height and split into three spaces for babies, toddlers and juniors, each with a distinctive design.

The resort’s £1.8m upgrade follows a £15m investment in an indoor activity centre in 2024. The activity centre features nine experiences including shuffleboard, glow pong, techputt and laser tag.

Jon Henry Pickup, Butlin’s CEO, said: “We’re excited to open our biggest ever soft play and puppet theatre space this Easter. These incredible new spaces are bright, fun and full of personality, just like the Skyline Gang and their performances, which are always a standout part of family’s breaks.

“2025 is set to be our best year yet. There’s brand-new entertainment and headline performers across all breaks, whether it is a family holiday or adult-only big weekender.”

Bognor’s latest upgrade is expected to open in time for Easter.
