The European Gaming and Betting Association is “actively urging” authorities in Poland and Austria to rework their online gaming regulations, as head of communications Barry Magee explains.
REGULATION continues to be a top-of-the-agenda topic all across Europe in the online gaming sector. Tax revenues, the battle lines between the legal and illegal markets and advertising are among the strands of regulation that have entangled Europe in a complex web of differing laws.
The European Gaming and Betting Association (EGBA), which counts Flutter Entertainment, evoke and Kindred among its members, is one of the key stakeholders looking to inspire a change of regulatory approach in certain markets, away from what it believes are restrictive measures.
