Brazil, Turkey and Canada are among the regions Slotegrator has pinpointed for online gaming growth in 2025.

Brazil tops the software provider’s list of markets to watch this year.

“There’s no ignoring the fact that Brazil is a massive opportunity,” said Slotegrator’s head of marketing, Svetlana Kirichenko.

“A huge population with a love of betting, especially sports betting, and a recently regulated market — it’s the perfect recipe for iGaming success.”

After the Ontario market opened its doors to regulated online gaming in April 2022, Slotegrator said its fellow Canadian province Alberta will follow suit this year.

“Alberta should draw plenty of attention in 2025; while it’s not certain exactly when the free market will be launched, brands will be getting ready to dive in the second it does,” the company said.

In Kazakhstan, there are “highly viable options for promotion,” Slotegrator said.

“Traffic is comparatively cheap and collaborations with promoters are very affordable. Online casino and sportsbook operators looking for opportunities with little competition – the foreign brands that target Kazakh players don’t necessarily prioritise them.

Sites that accept payments in tenge and localise their content in Kazakh will have a definite leg up.”

“We’re seeing some real interest in Kazakhstan and other Central Asian countries,” said Slotegrator’s sales manager Andrii Lypovyi.

“In the past, they haven’t got the attention they deserve, but we can see that changing now. They’re well worth the effort.”

The Turkish lira has “stabilised” in recent years, Slotegrator said, “meaning that the Turkish market can generate more revenue in stronger currencies like the euro.”

In Morocco, meanwhile, “user penetration is only expected to reach 11.9 per cent this year, and the total number of users should only hit 5.5 million by 2029, meaning there’s still plenty of potential bettors for operators willing to do the legwork to reach them,” the company added.
