Games Global has inked a 12-month deal with igaming supplier Playbook Fusion to bring the company’s Playbook Football to its third-party platform.

The football strategy betting game combines elements of igaming and sports betting, allowing players to build their own team, compete in matches and earn in-game rewards.

Players can also climb divisions throughout a season while placing in-game bets.

Opponents are selected from a pool of either AI teams or other players’ teams, with available betting markets including match result, over/under a specific number of goals, correct score and first/last/anytime goalscorer.

Placing bets builds experience points (XP) that unlocks rewards that boost team performance, such as player packs and boost cards.

“The game’s innovative approach aligns perfectly with our commitment to delivering standout content that captivates and drives operator success,” said Games Global’s chief product officer Andy Booth.

Steve Rogers, founder and CEO at Playbook Fusion, said: “We believe this strategic collaboration will pave the way for Playbook Football to become a market leader in the sphere of gamified sports products, and we’re thrilled to have Games Global as our exclusive partner during this crucial launch phase.”
